Photo import tips

  • Use bright lighting and avoid shadows.
  • Capture the full recipe (ingredients + steps).
  • If the recipe is long, upload multiple photos in order.
  • Add short notes to help clarify missing context.

Link import tips

  • Paste the full URL including https://
  • If a site blocks scraping, try copying the text instead.
  • If you get “not a recipe,” it may be a blocked page or paywall.

Restore purchases

  • Open the Subscription screen and use Restore (if available).
  • Make sure you are signed into the same Apple/Google store account.
  • After reinstalling, it may take a moment for entitlements to refresh.

Offline notes

  • Your recipes are saved locally on your device (SQLite).
  • Some actions may require internet (e.g., processing new imports).
  • If you have a subscription, offline access may be less restricted.

Troubleshooting

  • If the app feels stuck, close and reopen it.
  • Check your internet connection for imports.
  • Update to the latest version.
